Happy Holidays from Ventura Park P.S. Thank you for kindness and generosity as we wrap up this year.
Be well and stay safe.

Help the Ventura Park help the environment!
Recycling batteries is very important as batteries contain various heavy metals such as nickel, zinc, lead, mercury, lithium, cobalt, and cadmium. Recycling allows materials to be recovered, reused, and disposed of properly, keeping these hazardous materials out of landfill.
To help do our part in protecting the environment, Ventura Park P.S. is competing in the Ontario Schools Battery Recycling Program Challenge! From now until May, please send any used batteries that need to be recycled with your child to school. There will be designated recycling bins where they can drop them off. The more we collect, the more chances we have at winning the grand challenge prize, $2000 for our school!
Collection bins will be located in front of the office on the first floor and in front of room 234 on the second floor.
Let’s all work together to help our planet!

We are grateful to are two Grade 4 students who were our Administrators for the day. PK and VPK did an outstanding job extending their classes recess, declaring a no homework day and revising the daily schedule of their classroom.
As you can see by these photos they also really enjoyed their hot chocolate and cookies. We promise to share more photos as we appreciate our students who participated in our cookie dough fundraiser.
