On Wednesday March 29th, VPPS will proudly host our first ever Arts Night! The purpose of this incredible evening is to raise funds to support Arts programming at Ventura Park PS, while highlighting the amazing Arts skills of our incredibly talented students and staff!
Festivities will run from 5:30 pm – 8:00 pm. Artwork will be on display throughout the school, showcasing our students’ hard work and talent. Our main show in the gym will begin at 6:00 pm, with the following performances:
6 pm – Mme Sherman – Class 2C performing On écrit sur les murs by Kids United.
6:15 pm – Mme Melanson – Class 3C performing plays:
- Jack and the Beanstalk, or Jacques et les haricots magiques by Yasmine, Nolan, Riley, Max, Griffin and Dianna
- Cinderella or Cendrillon by Nat, Avery, Adam, Dov,Jonathan, Jaimee and Matti
- Play: Beauty and the Beast or La Belle et La Bête by James, Corinne, Isaac, Marc, Dianna and Daniel
7 pm– Mme Dakran & Mme Hivert Play : “Nerdface” Special thanks to: Elina, Marian, Gloria, Jaden & Gabe
7:30pm – Ms. McMurray – Grade 8 Concert Band; Regal March composed by Bruce Pearson arranged by Chuck Elledge; Prelude and Celebration composed by Jonathan Dagenais; Solo Performance on tabla: Ishaan (playing Closer); Ancient Moon composed by Elliot Delborgo
In addition, our cafe will be open all evening long in the staff room, where delicious and delectable refreshments will be on sale.
Don’t forget, our amazing raffle prizes will be on display. Please purchase your raffle tickets ONLINE by Tuesday March 28th in order to pick up your tickets and select your prizes!
Admission for the evening will be $2 per person or $5 per family, cash at the door.
