Good afternoon Awesome VPPS Parents and Guardians!

Today at around 1:30 pm, a loose dog was running around on the VPPS school yard, during the last 10 minutes of our Lunch Recess.  While this type of situation can create fear and anxiety among students and staff, no one was hurt during the dog’s unannounced visit to our fabulous school!

Within a few minutes, the dog’s owner was able to retrieve the dog and return the dog to it’s home.

Dear families,

Primary Intramurals are beginning next week! They will be offered to all Grade 1-3 students for the months of October-February. They will be led by Grade 6 student leaders and supervised by various teachers.

This is a reminder that Monday, October 22 is a P.A. Day for all YRDSB schools. 

Students will need to stay home on this day as teachers will be engaged in professional development to enhance student learning.
