Thanks to the parents and guardians who attended the French Immersion Information evening last night at Ventura Park.  Registration begins today at 9 am at the main office, and continues until Friday February 10, 2017. We look forward to having you join us in French Immersion at Ventura Park. Bienvenue!

1. French Immersion Information night will take place tonight at Ventura Park P.S. in the Gym.  Parents are invited for 7 pm.  Registration for French Immersion begins tomorrow here at VPPS, Friday January 20 and runs until Friday February 10.
2. Friday January 20 is a P.A. Day.  There are no classes tomorrow. Our teachers will be here working on their Term 1 Report Cards.

Please be aware that Pizza and Sub lunch orders have been extended until Friday January 20.  Please order via SCHOOL CASH ONLINE.

Good afternoon Amazing parents!

A reminder that student dismissal will occur at 3:20 pm today. For those who normally walk home, dismissal is as per usual.

For those of you who drove your child to VPPS today, here are the pickup arrangements:

• Grade 1, 2, and 3 students can be picked up in the Gym;
• Grade 4 and 5 students can be picked up in the Library;
• Grade 6, 7, and 8 students can be picked up in the Staff Room.

Drive Safely!

Due to the ongoing freezing rain the YRDSB has cancelled school buses and taxi service this morning and this afternoon. The school remains open. Please be careful on the roads and if you are walking make sure to give traffic extra time to stop. When the buses are cancelled in the morning they do not run in the afternoon either. This means that if you bring your child to school please ensure that you have pick up arrangements for 3:20 p.m. dismissal.

All Pizza and Sub orders for Term 2 which starts in February are due today.
