VPPS End of School Year Message

Just a few more days until the end of another school year. As a community, we have been through a lot together and have pulled together to always make the best of every situation. Thank you for supporting us at school and for helping us to build a community of kids who know they are valued – that they matter and they belong here at VPPS.

This week we will be saying farewell to our Grade 8 students – many of whom have been with us since grade 1. We wish them well as they head off to high school and hope that they carry with them the valuable experiences they have had at VPPS. Congratulations Grade 8’s! Thank you to everyone who contributed to an amazing Graduation.

This week we will also be saying farewell to some of our VPPS staff who will be moving to other opportunities across YRDSB and beyond. We are grateful for the ways they have contributed to the lives of students and staff here at Ventura Park. Thank you and best wishes to M. Cohen, Mme Forde, Mme Critch, Mme Kazdan, Mme Palfi & to Mme Denis who will be retiring at the end of this school year.

To the other students in our community who are off to new places next year – we hope that each one of you will remember fondly your friends and teachers at VPPS. Best wishes for always!
