Dear Ventura Park Families,
As announced by the Ontario government on December 30, 2021, schools will be requiring daily confirmation of COVID-19 screening of all students, staff and visitors starting in January 2022 until further notice.
York Region Public Health requires students/ guardians and staff to use the provincial COVID-19 school and child care screening tool every day before attending school. Symptomatic individuals and their household members should stay home and follow the instructions on the screening tool for isolation requirements; parents must not send children to school or child care if they are showing any symptoms of COVID-19. Families are also encouraged to check York Region’s Staying Safe at School page frequently for the most up-to-date information.
Once you have reviewed the screening tool each morning, you will need to complete the YRDSB COVID Self-Screening Isolation Form.
Please note that you must log in to the screening confirmation form using your child’s username and password. If you have more than one child attending a York Region District School Board school, a separate screening form must be submitted for each child. You may wish to consider bookmarking the link to the form for quick access
each morning.
