Good Afternoon and Happy New Year, Ventura Park Families!
We are waiting on communication from the YRDSB with details and will share with you when we get them, but Premier Ford has just announced that Ontario schools will be pivoting to online learning for a period of two weeks. Synchronous learning will begin for students this Wednesday January 5th, and teachers will be in touch with you regarding access and times for online learning. Students will be following their regular timetables during this closure and Wednesday is a Day 3.
If you require the use of a Chromebook during the virtual learning period, please call the school or contact us via email at ventura.park.ps@yrdsb.ca. Devices will be available for pickup tomorrow, January 4th, from 8:30 am – 3:00 pm. We will meet you at the front door to pass you the technology requested. Please ensure you are wearing a mask.
