The cross country team recently participated in the area meet this past week. We had yet another successful meet. Runners were grouped by gender and age group. Some groups had up to 160 runners in their division. Team scores were calculated by tabulating the top 4 finishers for each school within an age group and gender. Here were our team results:

Grade 4 Boys >> 1st place
Grade 5 Girls >> 1st place

Congratulation to all cross country athletes. Not only did they perform very well, but they demonstrated exceptional behavior while at the meet. They represented our school and community with great pride. We overheard many other coaches talk about how well rounded our athletes were because they showed tremendous sportsmanship, model behavior and fiercely competitive. We couldn’t be any more proud of our athletes!!!!!
Way to go Vikings!!!!!
